The image was captured and stacked without dark subtraction. This leaves some hot pixels in the image. They may not be too visible unless you boost the brightness but they are randomly scattered across the image. It is advisable to remove as many of these pixels as possible. I used the "Salt & Pepper" filter in the "Noise Reduction" menu to do this.
You just want to remove individual pixels so set the "Speck Size" to 1 and the "Sensitivity" to a mid range of 5.
If dark subtraction was used, this step can possibly be bypassed.
