The processing steps demonstrated in this presentation are by no means all that can be done with this image. Using techniques from my first presentation, you could bring out more stars in the background and enhance the brighter stars with the use of the erode filter. I leave it up to you to apply these and other techniques to further improve on what I have presented. The main purpose of the presentation is to show some basic tools and techniques that will hopefully give the beginning imagers a boost up the learning curve. Remember that there is no substitute for practice and experimentation.
